FRCS elementary students are invited to enter the 2025 Studio Art Show, where 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes will be awarded in each of four categories: 1st-3rd grade boys; 1st-3rd grade girls; 4th-6th grade boys; and 4th-6th grade girls. Judges will look for “Best Craftsmanship” and “Most Creative” when making their selections. Each student is allowed to enter no more than one 2D piece and one 3D piece. All artwork must be completed outside of school (including all supplies) and 100% by the student (no help from others). Pieces of any size are welcome.
Artwork must be submitted by February 18 (late submissions will not be accepted). No submission form is required, just bring the finished art to the elementary art room with the artist’s name and grade/section on it (e.g., Ariel Johns, 3B).
Artwork will be displayed on the elementary campus the week prior to the Elementary Talent Show, so that judges can view pieces anonymously. They will then be moved to the Commons on February 28 so that all students, family, and friends can enjoy the artwork. Winners are announced during the Elementary Talent Show.
